NSB member Jan Feitsma is assassinated in the Jacob Obrechtstraat
In 1941 NSB member Jan Feitsma becomes Attorney General of Amsterdam. He is also advisor to NSB leader Anton Mussert.
In 1943 there is an attempt to assassinate him but only his son is badly injured. Fifty men are sent to Camp Vught as a reprisal for this.
On 2 February 1945 a second attempt is made. Feitsma is shot by a cyclist in the Jacob Obrechtstraat. He dies shortly after aged 61.
